Washoe County Sheriff’s Ring In The Christmas Cheer

Washoe County Sheriff’s Office will be ringing bells at the doors of the Wal-Mart Superstore on Damonte Ranch Parkway in South Reno from 10:00am until 2:00pm, this Saturday, December 15th.

Sheriff Michael Haley will stop by to support his troops while we ring bells at each of the doors in hopes of raising money to help The Salvation Army. “We are proud of our partnership with the Salvation Army,” states Sheriff Haley. “This is just a small way we can help and we are glad to do it.”

The Salvation Army not only assists in emergency disaster situations, they provide Christmas assistance and work hard all year long in our community by assisting with social services, youth programs, adult rehabilitation, senior citizen’s care, veteran’s events and worship programs to name a few.
