Door Kick Burglar Caught

The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, Reno Police Department and Sparks Police Department Repeat Offender Program in conjunction with the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people and charged them for recent home door-kick burglaries in the Reno/Sparks area as well as in Lyon County.

Joseph Lerma, 30, of Reno, was booked November 21st into the Washoe County Detention Facility.

His charges are Possession of Stolen Property and Burglary. Lerma’s bail is set at $275,000.00.

Also arrested was Alverine Skenadore, 39, of Sparks, was booked for Possession of Stolen Property. Her bail was $2,500.

If anyone has been a victim in a burglary that has been reported to police, and would like to view the recovered property, they are invited to the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, Detective Division, December 4, 5, or 6, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Please bring the case number and any documentation to prove ownership.
