Nevada Senator Harry Reid is expected to be named Senate Minority Leader tomorrow replacing Tom Daschle who was defeated in the recent election.
Reid will begin his 4th term in the Senate in January, but is a relative unknown on the national level.
On Capitol Hill there's already a debate about his election to this post.
If you sample the liberal and progressive blogs on the internet, you'll see a good deal of handwringing.
But his colleagues in the Senate....on both sides of the aisle and those here in Nevada who've known him longest say he will surprise his critics.
