Sparks police say a pit bull was shot and killed by officers when it attacked them while investigating a domestic dispute.
Twenty-three year old Jessica Griffin told police she received several telephone calls Tuesday from Paul Watterson, who threatened to shoot her and the couple's 8-month-old son if she didn't return to the apartment.
Police found Watterson and the boy at the apartment.
They say the dog attacked when Watterson got into a struggle with officers.
Watterson was arrested on suspicion of aggravated stalking, child endangerment, threats and obstructing officers.
He was booked on $100,000 bail.
