One of the President's biggest "former rivals" was in Reno...calling for Democrats to protest the visit of Vice President Dick Cheney tomorrow.
Former Texas Governor Ann Richards was on a four-stop tour to Northern Nevada today.
She started out this morning by speaking to seniors at the Promenade on the River.
Richards blasted Bush's medicare program...telling seniors they're actually paying more now for prescription drugs.
She addressed the media later at the Speakeasy Hotel in downtown Reno...where she addressed the Yucca Mountain issue.
Richards says she fought the same fight in the 1990s as governor of Texas...when Congress almost approved a plan to have waste stored in the Lone Star state.
