Coach Remembered

The University of Nevada said a emotional goodbye to one of its coaches today.
Family, friends and fans of the program packed into Lawlor Events Center today for Mike Gervasoni's memorial.
Gervasoni was killed on October 21st when his car was struck by a truck exiting highway 395 onto Moana Lane. He was entering his second year as assistant coach of the Wolf Pack women's basketball team under his wife Kim Gervasoni.
Dress for the memorial was casual and organizers even requested that attendees wear sweats because they say that's what Coach "Gerv", as he was called, would have wanted.
In Kim Gervasoni's absence, her two assistants have been running practices and everyday basketball operations.
