Vice President Cheney to Return to Reno

Vice President Dick Cheney is expected to spend part of Monday making one last election-eve appeal to Nevada voters.
Bush-Cheney campaign spokeswoman Tracey Schmitt in Las Vegas says there's been no formal confirmation.
But an automated telephone message from the Republican National
Committee says Cheney will make an appearance in Reno on Monday --
the day before the November second election.
A recorded message to area Republicans says they can pick
up free tickets to the event beginning Wednesday at the
party's northern Nevada headquarters on Reno's South Meadows
Senator Harry Reid called a news conference at Democratic
headquarters in Reno this evening to announce Cheney's visit -- the
vice president's seventh to Nevada this year.
Reid says it's a sign that Republicans are worried about
carrying traditionally Republican leaning Reno and surrounding
Washoe County.
