Investigators now have a suspect a murder case more than 3 years old.
80 year old Virginia Mosconi was killed on the night of June 8th, 2001.
Detectives say, someone broke into her home and beat her to death, but left virtually no clues.
Nobody seems to have seen anybody suspicious in the neighborhood that night or early morning.
Mosconi had no known enemies.
According to the Sheriff's Department, investigators are now looking at a new suspect thanks to DNA evidence.
We are told the suspect is already in custody, but not in this area.
According to the department, investigators are not saying much at this point to protect the integrity of the case.
So far, no charges have been filed and no arrests have been made.
