One Spanish Springs couple won't be able to vote in the upcoming general election...and it's not because they don't want to.
Eric Amberson and his wife registered to vote October 2nd at a Wal-Mart on Kietzke.
He says they even got a receipt from the bottom of the forms...proving they registered.
But, their forms were never turned into the Washoe County registrar's office.
It turns out a Phoenix-based company was setting up "vote here" locations all over the state, and "not" processing those voter registrations.
Amberson learned he wasn't registered to vote...when he checked Washoe county's website.
By then, the deadline had passed for the general election.
