The Barack Obama campaign announced today that National Campaign Co-Chair and retired four-star General Merrill “Tony” McPeak will be joining the campaign for a Commander in Chief Tour across Nevada on November 12th and 13th.
A former Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force who served in the armed forces for over 35 years, General McPeak will address groups of veterans and community members to discuss Senator Obama’s foreign policy and national security vision for the country.
As the only candidate to oppose the Iraq War from the beginning, Obama has the judgment and leadership to successfully end the war in Iraq, unite the country, and restore America’s moral standing abroad.
General McPeak will attend events in Elko, Battle Mountain, Winnemucca and Lovelock on Monday, and events in Boulder City and Pahrump on Tuesday.
