Sad news tonight from New York: Christopher Reeve, the star of the "Superman" movies has died.
Reeve fell into a coma Saturday after going into cardiac arrest while at his New York home.
He was being treated for a pressure wound, and developed a severe infection.
Nine years ago Reeve was involved in a riding accident that left him paralyzed. That turned the actor into a worldwide advocate for spinal cord research. Christopher Reeve was 52 years old.
