Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest Dispatch More Firefighters To Assist In SoCal.

The Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest has dispatched four engines and six additional personnel since Tuesday to assist on Southern California’s wildfires.

Employees from Carson, Sparks, Winnemucca, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Bridgeport, California, are staffing fires throughout Southern California.

Sixteen firefighters are working on the four engines from Sparks, Winnemucca, Las Vegas, and Bridgeport, California.

The total number of Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest employees currently assigned to the fires is 22.

Fire assignments can last up to 14 days.
