Last Gates Foundation Gift To Libraries Includes Nevada

The Gates Foundation says the $8 million it's giving to libraries in 10 states is the last round of grants to upgrade computers at U.S. libraries.

The latest money goes to libraries in Colorado, Delaware, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Pennsylvania, Utah and Wyoming.

With the latest grants every state will have received Gates Foundation money for library computers.

The Seattle-based foundation has given a total of $320 million over the years to install and support computers at the nation's libraries.

The Gates Foundation started its work funding libraries and in recent years has been focusing more on world health initiatives.
