D-R-I is building on its already stellar reputation by introducing the Maxey Science Building Addition.

A second extension, the Computational Research Visualization Building or C.R.V.B. is expected to open next July.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is one of many politicians who are eager to see where D.R.I's latest invention will take them next.

"These people do some amazing things," says Reid. "The new facilities will allow them to do more on breaking further ground."

The 10 thousand foot Maxie Science Expansion is an office and administration facility that researchers call a wet lab, which means it's properly designed for bio-chemical lab experiments.

The crowd of nearly 200 people had lunch and got a chance to tour the new facility following the afternoon press conference.
