Former Nevada offensive lineman Harvey Dahl has been picked up by the Atlanta Falcons and will be placed on their active roster.
Dahl was cut by the San Francisco 49ers yesterday.
His Reno-based agent Jim Grogran says he should be suited up and ready to play on Sunday for the Falcons, who have been hit with a series of injuries on their offensive line.
Dahl played at Fallon before his career with the Wolf Pack.
He graduated from U-N-R in December 2004.
He had been with the 49ers for three years and currently was on their practice squad.
He's expected to sign a two-year contract that will pay him the league
minimum of $350,000 this year and $425,000 next year.
