The 41st annual Reno National Championship Air Races flew off into the sunset, capping a week's worth of high flying acrobatics.
The Red Bull Air race featured the world's best stunt pilots.
Mike Mangold won the competition with his edge 540 plane.
He pulled 10 g's and flew more than 250 miles per hour through an obstacle course.
The pilots were judged on speed and aerobatic manuevers.
They say the windy weather made the races challenging.
The Gold Unlimited race was a close one.
Dago Red won, but was disqualified for cutting a pylon, and the victory went instead to Rare Bear.
