The pilot of a plane competing in the Reno Air Races is safe, after crash landing his plane around 4:00 pm Sunday.
We’re told the pilot experienced some mechanical problems, and narrowly missed another plane while approaching the runway. The plane reportedly made a hard landing, but the pilot got out of his plane and waived to the crowd before walking away.
