A hunter who became separated from others while looking for firewood was found in the Tuscarora area after a 10-hour search.
Elko County authorities say 29-year-old Daniel Pratt was reported missing around 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Undersheriff Rocky Gonzalez says the group of four had gone looking for firewood, and Pratt's vehicle slid backward down a steep embankment when he tried to turn around.
Two members of the hunting party left on foot to return to the campsite and get their vehicle.
Authorities say Pratt and another man left the stuck vehicle a short time later but became separated.
A ranch hand found Pratt the following morning.
