Controversial filmmaker Michael Moore will speak at the University of Nevada next month.
The student senate yesterday approved spending 63-hundred dollars for Moore's visit.
It's scheduled for October 13th at Lawlor Events Center.
*Critics say the funds collected from student fees should be reserved for university projects.
The total cost for Moore's visit is about 32-*thousand dollars.
The non-profit group Democracy for Nevada is donating 10-thousand dollars.
The rest of the money will come from ticket sales and fund raisers.
