A Sparks man is recovering after being rescued from Lahontan Reservoir.
It happened at 11:45 Thursday morning. According to state parks officials, the 47-year-old man slipped and fell into a fast moving canal that brings water from the Truckee into the reservoir.
Parks personnel were able to rescue him and he is currently recovering from hypothermia in a Fallon hospital.
