RENO, NV - The victim of a car versus pedestrian accident Thursday night is recovering, according to Reno police.
The woman was walking across a street near 7th and Keystone in northwest Reno about 8:30. Police say she wasn't in a crosswalk when she was hit by the driver of a sedan.
She was in danger of losing a leg, but police say doctors seem to have saved it. They also say no charges are anticipated against the driver.

It made my day to read the woman hit by the car is recovering. I have been praying for her and the driver. I know many others who are doing so as well. I would love to read more about her recovery in the days to come.

There's a Mother & Grandmother lying in the hospital with a broken neck, who almost lost her leg. A mistake was made by not using the crosswalk, but to have her called an idiot is uncalled for. Where is the compassion? What if it was your Mother? You people need to grow up!
