Just when it looked like Chris Aguila might be out of options, the team that originally drafted him 13 years ago is giving him another shot.
The Florida Marlins have signed the former McQueen star to a Triple-A contract.
The 31-year-old has already reported to the New Orleans Zephyrs.
Florida drafted Aguila out of McQueen in 1997.
He played with the Marlins from 2004-2006, but he never hit over .244.
Just last weekend, the Phillies released Aguila from their Triple-A roster.
