College Theft At All-Time High

The Department of Education says theft on college campuses nationwide has reached an all-time high.
The most recent statistics available are from 2002...when there more than 29-thousand on campus burglaries.
At the University of Nevada-Reno, police say there have already been nearly 70-reports of burglaries this year.
Everything from electronics to backpacks are being stolen from dining halls, libraries and dorms.
Police remind students to keep an eye on their property.
Authorities also say writing down serial numbers on expensive items is advised-- in case stolen property is recovered.
