Nevada Sheriff's Deputy Says One Girl In Sex Tape Identified

Authorities in Nye County say they've identified one girl whose images they made public following the discovery of a videotape showing sex acts by a man on another girl of about 4 or 5 years old.

"The Nye County sheriff's office has confirmed that this girl is safe and well," sheriff's Detective David Boruchowitz said in a Thursday statement putting the location of videos of the second girl in Nye County.

The exact site was not disclosed, and no additional information
about the girl was made public.

The older girl was not sexually abused, Boruchowitz said, but investigators fear the younger girl is in danger.

Sheriff's detectives also are seeking a man whose image is seen on the video.

A 26-year-old Pahrump man, Darren Tuck, surrendered the tape to
Nye County sheriff's investigators Sept. 8, after another man reported seeing it, Boruchowitz said.

Tuck was later arrested on charges of promoting child pornography and possession of child pornography, felonies, and released without bail pending an appearance Nov. 26 in Pahrump Justice Court.

The top charge carries a possible sentence of up to life in prison.

Tuck told detectives he found the videotape in the desert outside Pahrump more than five months ago.

Boruchowitz said investigators don't think Tuck made the tape.

Pahrump is a small town 60 miles west of Las Vegas.
