A trough moving through the Pacific Northwest will bring a break from the intense heat for a few days, with mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will start to warm again late in the week, with mid 90s on the way back for the weekend. Thunderstorm chances are low through early next week. -Jeff

But fire crews tell us it’s a concern all summer long. The fallout can be devastating for the homeowner whose house is destroyed by fireworks, and costly for the person with the fireworks.
