An atmospheric river will push deep moisture from the Pacific through the region for the first half of the weekend. This type of pattern will bring heavy rainfall at times with high Sierra snow levels and gusty wind area-wide. Watch for rising or high water through late Saturday. By Saturday night, snow levels will fall as heavier precipitation comes to an end. The weather will partially clear Sunday and Monday, before another system moves into the region Monday night. This storm looks colder, with a better chance of snow down to Lake Tahoe or possible foothill-level on the Sierra Front by Monday night into early Tuesday. -Jeff
The Los Angeles city attorney is suing four major retailers over claims that they deliberately inflated the original price on some items that misled customers into thinking they were getting a better deal.
The court acted Friday in response to a Nevada State Bar filing Thursday, which says Graham's clients have been in limbo since he abruptly closed his practice on Dec. 2.
