Weather Alerts: Winter Storm Warning - Winter Storm Watch View Alert Details

Saturday Web Weather and Road Conditions

After a break in the weather on Saturday (we are still expected snow showers and Sierra road controls are possible), another strong winter storm will move into the region Saturday night. More heavy Sierra snow is likely, with widespread snow expected down to valley floors of western Nevada. This storm will persist into early Monday before lifting out. In its wake, quieter conditions will return to the region Tuesday through the end of next week. This weekend's storm is one to prepare for from the Sierra to valley locations. Keep the gas tank full, cell phone charged, pantry stocked, and plenty of warm clothing at hand. -Jeff
