LAS VEGAS (AP) - The Southern Nevada Health District is issuing the first doses of the swine flu vaccine.
Doctors, nurses and EMTs who met the guidelines to receive FluMist received the inhaled vaccine on Saturday at the Southern Nevada Health District clinic on Saturday.
Health officials say 326 people received the vaccine.
Clark County received 20,600 initial doses of the vaccine. FluMist is approved for people between the ages of 2 and 49, who have no underlying or chronic medical conditions such as asthma or diabetes and who are not pregnant.
The district plans to expand the list of those allowed to receive vaccine to other high priority groups, starting Monday.
