Ms. Planet Beach Spokesmodel Search

The Ms. Planet Beach International Competition, a charitable event, is an annual competition used to launch the search for its next spokesmodel. It is aimed at finding someone who truly represents the Planet Beach brand and lifestyle. Contestants from across the globe compete for a chance to win a $100,000, one-year contract.

Buckbean Brewing Company, Nevada’s largest production microbrewery, will bring to Reno the first-ever CANFEST – Reno International Canned Beer Festival, the first international beer judging and tasting for canned beer. Celebrities from the ale world will judge the beers, based on certain categories. Guests can enjoy beer seminars, beer and food pairings and a forum of canned beer brewers.
Fantasies in Chocolate “Vampires Ball”

Summit Pavilion
The 25th Annual Fantasies in Chocolate embraces the thrill of Halloween and expands the fantastical experience of this delectable event; guests will experience the creativity and ghoulish allure of Halloween. Fantasies in Chocolate is a benefit for the Reno Gazette-Journal Foundation, a non-profit organization that distributes funds to local charitable organizations in northern Nevada. Since 2001, the Reno Gazette-Journal Foundation has awarded more than $765,000 to these organizations.

Kate Voegele

Grand Theatre
Kate Voegele is a singer-songwriter, musician and actress. Voegele signed a record deal with MySpace Records in 2006 and released her debut album, ‘Don't Look Away’ in May 2007. The album has sold more than 225,000 copies. Voegele released her second album, ‘A Fine Mess,’ in May of this year and has since sold 37,000 copies in the United States in its first week.
Widespread Panic

Widespread Panic is an American rock band from Athens, Georgia that has been frequently compared to other jam bands such as the Grateful Dead and Phish. Widespread Panic has influences from the southern rock, blues-rock, progressive rock and hard rock genres. The groups popular songs include “Driving Song” and “Chilly Water.”

Grand Theatre
Pilobolus is an internationally-renowned dance company who first began performing in October 1971 and has been touring worldwide since. It has received many awards including the Berlin Critic's Prize and a Primetime Emmy Award for outstanding achievement in cultural programming. In 2004 the company was the subject of a feature profile on CBS' “60 Minutes.”
The Black Crowes

Grand Theatre
The Black Crowes is a blues-oriented hard rock jam band, who have sold more 20 million albums. Although the Crowes have had many members over the years, the driving force behind the band has always been the brothers Chris and Rich Robinson. The Crowes released their first studio album, Shake Your Money Maker, in 1990. On the strength of several singles, the band’s debut album received multi-platinum certification has sold more than three million copies and they were listed #92 on VH1's "100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock."

Bowfire is a Canadian musical show featuring multiple violins, formed in June 2000. The group performs a mix of classical music, jazz, bluegrass, Celtic, rock and world music. One of the group's most popular compositions is "Fiddler in the Hood." The group also performs covers of well-known tunes such as Led Zeppelin's "Kashmir."
Disney’s ‘101 Dalmations’
