BEVERLY HILLS, Cali. -- A man was arrested last night for allegedly trespassing Tom Cruise's Beverly Hills home after his security team saw him hop a fence and tasered him, according to reports.
The prowler was later identified as 41-year-old neighbor who was reported to have entered the star's property in a drunken fit. The incident reportedly occurred at around 9:30 p.m. when a security guard noticed a man try to gain access to the star's house
The man was shot with a stun gun and detained before police arrived to take him into custody. Reports say his is being treated at a nearby hospital for injuries related to the tasering.
Neither Cruise nor his family were at home at the time.
The star recently filed a $50 million defamation lawsuit against Life & Style and In Touch Weekly over stories claiming that the actor abandoned his and Katie Holmes' 6-year-old daughter, Suri.
