RENO, NV - There is no fish too big for a Reno researcher to handle.
Zeb Hogan, a research professor at UNR, travels the world finding, studying and protecting the world's largest freshwater fish.
Hogan's most recent travel was a 30,000-mile voyage from Florida to Alaska and from Malaysia to Mississippi.
Various large and rare freshwater fish that Hogan encountered were a six-foot trout in Mongolia, a 135-pound sturgeon in Spain, and a 14-foot-long stingray in Thailand.
National Geographic documented Hogan's travels in its show "Monster Fish," which airs its fourth season July 5.
