Rapper Rick Ross Crashes Rolls-Royce; Avoids Gunfire

FORT LAUDERDALE, Flor. -- Cops have confirmed rapper Rick Ross was driving the Rolls-Royce when he hit a building early Monday morning. Ross was reportedly trying to speed away from a gunshot. Neither Ross and his passenger, Shateria L. Moragne-el, his reported girlfriend, suffered injuries.

According to TMZ, dozens of shots were fired at the car around 5 a.m., none hit the car. Several buildings in the area were struck by gun fire. Police say the suspects fled from the scene before they arrived.

Police also say that another vehicle had pulled up next to the Rolls when someone inside opened fire on Ross' car.

So far, cops have not made any arrests in connection with the shooting and have not identified any suspects.

The crime is still under investigation.
