PITTSBURGH (AP) - What happens when two young movie directors make different films from the same script?
Who knows, but Hollywood producer Chris Moore intends to find out with his new Pittsburgh-based reality TV series, "The Chair."
Moore, known for the films "Good Will Hunting" and "Promised Land," is one of the show's producers. The show will likely air this fall, in hourly episodes chronicling the efforts as two young directors make separate movies from the same script. The movies will be released in theaters during the show's run and viewers will then vote on which one they like better.
Moore picked Pittsburgh for the project because he's working with Point Park University's film department.
The show is expected to air on a pay cable channel, though that's still being negotiated.
