NEW YORK (AP) - Rob Lowe, who has publicly aligned himself with the Democratic party in the past, says it was not a concern to take on a TV movie adaptation of Fox News pundit and conservative Bill O'Reilly's book "Killing Kennedy."
The actor says "he didn't think about it at all" because the book "had been so successful."
In National Geographic's "Killing Kennedy," Lowe plays the 35th president of the United States. Ginnifer Goodwin plays Jackie Kennedy.
The film also looks at Lee Harvey Oswald's life prior to killing Kennedy.
"Killing Kennedy" will air in November.
