LAS VEGAS (AP) - A French-Canadian songstress backed by superstar Celine Dion is extending her stay on a Las Vegas Strip stage from two months to six months.
Officials at Bally's say Monday they've added performances of "Veronic Voices" through Dec. 21 due to "overwhelming popularity."
The show stars Veronic DiCaire, who impersonates 50 female artists ranging from Whitney Houston to Carrie Underwood.
DiCaire opened for Dion in Montreal in 2008 and succeeded in the French music world before launching the residency in late June.
The production runs most Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays in the theater that typically hosts "Jubilee!" showgirl performances. Tickets range from $60 to $120.
