LOS ANGELES, Cal. -- She wasn't a Playboy Bunny, by Mary O'Connor was one of the most recognized woman in the Playboy Empire.
She passed away Monday Founder Hugh Hefner made the announcement via Twitter, saying "Mary passed away today. We loved her more than words can say."
O'Conner was the long-time secretary for Hugh Hefner, and she was part of the reality show shot at the Playboy Mansion "The Girls Next Door".

The cause of death wasn't immediately released, but Mary has not been feeling well. Hefner's wife, Crystal, went to visit Mary in the days before she died.
US Weekly reports that Hefner is devastated by the loss. O'Conner is said to be the one who helped re-unite Hugh and Crystal, who were married on New Year's Eve.
Mary's husband, known as Captain Bob, passed away nine month ago.
Former Girls Next Door star Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett tweeted "RIP Mary O'Conner. She was an amazing person who helped me through so much. But I know she's happy with her boo Captain Bob."
Mary O'Conner was 82 years old.
