ELKO, Nev. (AP) - A light earthquake has shaken northeast Nevada.

The U.S. Geological Survey says earthquake had a preliminary
magnitude of 3.8 and was reported around 2 a.m. Saturday. It was
centered in a sparsely populated area near the Nevada-Utah border.

An Elko County Sheriff's dispatcher said there are no reports of damage or injuries.
