The Karma Project sells jewelry at events around town. 25% of the proceeds from the jewelry sales go to the organization putting on the fundraiser.
Charity organizers say, they're happy to have the added boost, especially during these tough economic times. Artists participating in The Karma Project say, it's just their way of giving back to the community.
Kevin Williams, a Karma Project artist says, "We want people to keep giving even though times are hard right now. People are struggling, especially charities. Charities are going under because donors are tightening their belts. We want to see people realize the way to get out of tough times is to step up and do something good."
The Karma Project is always looking for more artists. For more information, visit www.karmaproject.org.
