Specialty Bakery Offers Sweets for Allergy Sufferers
No one likes having allergies, but it's always worse when it's your child who is suffering. Food allergies are extremely common in children, especially to products such as milk, eggs, fruits and nuts.

Imagine having a child who gets violently ill every time they eat something they are allergic to. Families with young children who are allergic to wheat and other grain proteins have to be extra careful about what their children eat.
Children diagnosed with autism, also need a Gluten-free and sugar-free diet to thrive. Children with diabetes cannot tolerate carbohydrates and refined sugars.
Something Sweet is a new specialty bakery that creates sweets tailored to the needs of children with special dietary needs. Owner Darlene Countryman is diabetic herself, and requires a gluten-free diet. Something Sweet offers cookies, candies, fudge, and cupcakes tailored to the needs of people with food allergies. The bakery also has more than 230 character shaped cake pans making it possible to theme any special occasion.
