Book? or Art? UNR Celebrates Both
The University of Nevada, Reno is celebrating the book as a form of art. As part of Artown, artist Charles Hobson is showcasing his book arts, handmade books each uniquely constructed from various materials in shapes that enhance the knowledge and ideas presented in the book. The exhibit opened June 26, and runs through September 16th. Hobson will present and discuss his work with the public on Monday, July 6th.
The exhibit is on display at UNR's Knowledge Center next to the Student Union. This is just one of many art exhibits on display at the University as part of Artown. For more information and a schedule of events, visit www.renoisartown.com
