Eldorado's BBQ, Brews & Blues Fest Extends to Two Days
This year's, Eldorado BBQ, Brews & Blues Festival is bigger and better than ever! Northern Nevada's biggest batch of BBQ, blues music and beer is two days, Saturday, June 27 from 12 until 9pm and Sunday, June 28 from 11am to 6pm. Double the days means double the fun as an unprecedented seven food booths will span Virginia Street. The festival food mix includes traditional Smoked BBQ Pork Ribs, savory Pulled Pork with Texas Toast and Grilled Hot Links; as well as a Burger Barn with Big Dog Chili, Corn Dogs and Onion Rings. New items this year include international fare like Shredded Beef Enchiladas, Pork Tacos, Grilled Korean BBQ Short Ribs with Kim Chee and Coconut Chicken Satay. For dessert, festival goers can feast on Strawberries and Cream Funnel Cake.
Microbreweries will pour beer from all over the world, including the Eldorado's own, The Brew Brothers' custom brews. Featured microbreweries include Alaskan Brewing Company, Black Diamond Brewing Company, Eel River Brewing Company, Napa Smith Brewery, Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, Mammoth Brewing Company, Leinenkugel Brewing Company, Pilsner Urquell, Sierra Nevada and many more.
Festival tasting packages are available for $20 and include 13 tokens, each worth a 4oz tasting and a souvenir beer mug. Tasting packages will be available for purchase during both days of the festival until 7pm. on Saturday and 4pm on Sunday. Alcohol sales and tastings stop one hour before close on each day of the festival.
Free, live entertainment takes the stage on 3rd and 4th Streets. The line up includes Trey Stone Band, Summer of Love, Buddy Emmer Blues Band, Mumbo Gumbo, Shane Dwight Band, Jason King Band, Patton's Blues Band, Full Body Rock and Brief Case Full of Blues.
