RENO, NV - Cutting, Working Cow Horse, Team Penning and Ranch Sorting events are happening inside the Reno Livestock Events Center on Thursday and Friday. Start time on Thursday is at 8:00am. Judges will be looking for horsemanship skills, precision of execution of movements, and speed. A $10,000 bridle horse purse will be up for grabs, and a silver bit will be awarded to the winner of the bridle horse classic sponsored by D Bar M Western Store.

A saddle will be awarded to the high money winning rider in the combined $20,000 Non Pro - $10,000 Amateur - $2,000 Limit Rider at the Casino West Cutting (April) Reno Rodeo Cutting (June ) Winnemucca Summer Cutting (July) and NRC&CHA Cutting Spectacular (TBD) at the 2009 Year End Awards Banquet.
