Here are some ideas for keeping your power bills down:

--Get a programable thermostat and set it at 68 degrees in the winter and 78 degrees in the summer
--Add extra insulation to your roof
--Install double pane windows
--Don't use electric heaters
--Use ceiling fans
--Get rid of old appliances
--Hand wash dishes instead of using the dishwasher
--Line dry clothes instead of using the dryer
--Replace your air filter every month
--Keep curtains open in the winter and closed in the summer
