Truckee High School holds signing party

TRUCKEE, Calif. (KOLO) 13 Truckee high school student-athletes signed their letters of intent on Monday; three of them from the Track & Field team that won the school's first State Championships last year.

Carrie Bradley will run both Cross Country and Track at UC Santa Cruz, Brenna Wapstra-Scott is headed to UC Santa Barbara, while Heather Pendleton will do both at Chico State University.

Chloe Murphy and Lydia Christian helped the Wolverines win the State title in soccer last season. Murphy is headed to Whittier College with Christian going to the University of Redlands.

Five football players have signed letters of intent; two of them with four-year colleges. Wulfe Retzlaff is headed to UC Davis, while Cole Harrity will play at Weber State. The other three are headed to community colleges. Tyler Davis will play at nearby Feather River College, Jack Englert is headed to Santa Barbara CC and Jose Araiza will play at Butte College.

Connor Bullion is going to play baseball at Cabrillo Community College, Carson McCarran will play Lacrosse at Sierra Nevada College and Annie Guerra is going to compete in rowing at Sacramento State.
