Reno's Chamberlain named high school All-American

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) Reno high school senior Christian Chamberlain was named a high school All-America by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper on Friday.

Chamberlain was dominant for the Huskies in both pitching and batting this season; named first team All-State.

He batted .485 with six doubles, eight triples, 10 home runs and 43 RBI. He also stole 20 bases.

Chamberlain went 9-1 as a pitcher with a 1.06 ERA and 130 strikeouts in 59 innings.

He has already signed a letter of intent to play college baseball at Oregon State.
