WASHINGTON (KOLO) The Washington Wizards have signed Ramon Sessions to a 10-day contract.

Sessions was released by the Knicks back in January. He appeared in 13 games, averaging 3.7 points, 2.1 assists and 1.4 rebounds in 12.8 minutes off the bench.

He played for the Wizards for parts of two seasons between 2014-2016. He averaged 9.9 points per game his final season in Washington.

Sessions is needed to help their backcourt, after injuries to point guard John Wall, Tomas Satoransky and Tim Frazier.

The former Wolf Pack star has averaged 10.4 points, 4.1 assists and 2.7 rebounds per game over his 11-year NBA career.
