Reno, Nev. — Reno 1868 FC announced Sunday that the club has re-signed Reno native and goalkeeper Sean Bieker along with defender Thomas Janjigian pending league and federation approval.

Bieker, a Cal State Fullerton alum, was brought on at the end of last season and is expected to be a valuable addition to Reno’s goalkeeper unit and has already seen extended time during the preseason.

The former Bishop Manogue High School standout is expected to continue to grow his skills as a young goalkeeper this season with Reno.

“It's really special to me to be back playing at home in front of family and friends,” Bieker said. “After being away for fouryears playing in college I'm so excited to continue my career at home.”

Janjigian made his professional debut with Reno last season against Orange County SC.

During the season, Janjigian was called up to play with Reno’s Major League Soccer affiliate, the San Jose Earthquakes in their U.S. Open Cup victory over the San Francisco Deltas. Janjigian also played in the Earthquakes’ friendly against Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt.

“It feels great to be coming back and to be able to play and improve with many of the same players from last season,” Janjigian said. “Reno is definitely starting to feel like home.

“I can't wait for the season to start so we can show all of the hard work that we've been putting in.”
