SPARKS, Nev. (KOLO) - The Sparks Fire Department pulled a woman out of the Truckee River Saturday morning on Galletti Way near Kietzke Lane.
The call to dispatch came in about 10:45 a.m. March 3, 2018 and the first Sparks Police Department officer on scene spotted the woman in the river and guided a water entry team member to her. The rescuer pulled her out of the river and took her to an ambulance, the fire department reported. Crews began resuscitation and took her to Renown Regional Medical Center.
The woman has been admitted to the intensive care unit, the fire department said. The fire department did not say why she was in the river.
