Washoe Sheriff's detectives ID Sun Valley shooting victim

SUN VALLEY, Nev. (KOLO)-- Washoe County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help with information that could assist the ongoing investigation of a suspected homicide at a home on Lupin Drive in Sun Valley.

About 3PM Friday, September 29, 2017, Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the area of Lupin Drive and Honey Bear Drive on a report of a dead man in a home. Deputies say the man appeared to be the victim of a shooting.

The man been identified by the Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office as 34-year-old Michael Partridge of Sun Valley, and confirmed that Partridge died as a result of having been shot. Family has been notified.
