Suspect arrested following armed robbery at Godfather's Pizza in Reno

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) Reno police responded to reports of an armed robbery at Godfather’s pizza.

It happened on Wednesday around 1 p.m. at the restaurant on Booth Street.

RPD tells us officers reached out to employees at The Computer Guy about surveillance video that could show the suspect in the robbery. (Attached photos are from The Computer Guy)

From the surveillance footage officers were able to identify the getaway vehicle, from that point they were able to track down the driver. After further investigation and interviewing the driver, police identified Juan Manuel Lopez-Mercado as the robbery suspect and he was arrested.

Lopez-Mercado was the only person arrested in this case.
